Ramallah

After the interfaith experience of Bethlehem, in Ramallah, you will see that Palestine is a country of contrasts. Central to this city is the Main Square of the Lion Heads, which leads you into numerous streets lined with shops, restaurants and coffee houses.  Unlike other Palestinian cities, the presence of internationals, NGO’s, and a thriving network of university students give Ramallah a different flavour to the rest of Palestine.  The city has a vibrant night life and hosts a number of cultural and entertainment events.  A ‘must see’ in Ramallah is Arafat’s tomb, a temporary burial site until his remains are relocated to Jerusalem.
